When you look at a white screen, do you see any black spots, lines or any discoloration? If no then it's just the glass. Does your screen have touch issues? If no, then it's just the glass. After replacing the screen, you may notice a message within the settings indicating that Apple cannot verify whether the screen is genuine.

This is because the serial number of the replacement screen differs from that of the original screen installed at the factory. Even if the replacement screen is authentic, this message will still appear due to the different serial number, and Apple's policy of restricting access to screen programming.
